Hold Fast Mug - Doris & CoToday I have one stunningly lovely Doris & Co Hold Fast Mug up for grabs. I have one and use it every day… and get rather cross if others get given it with their tea in… but enough about me and my ‘protective’ feelings towards my Hold Fast Mug…

Why am I giving away a Hold Fast Mug from Doris & Co?

Doris & Co is a sister company to Hiho Silver, and a business I am very, very proud to support. The British made creamware that Doris & Co is known for is beautiful, lovely to hold, beautifully designed… and hard as nails. The phrases and words on the mugs are all thoughtfully chosen and make you feel warm and fuzzy… without any nausea(!). The designs are gorgeous and exclusive to Doris. And the brand is friendly, welcoming, inclusive and fun. I love that the pieces are as beautiful as they are practical. I love ‘nice’ things, who doesn’t, but two toddlers, the naughtiest dog I have ever met and more means that delicate things don’t say ‘nice’ for long. Despite my best efforts. But Doris & Co products are the exception. They’re dishwasher proof, robust, well made… and I haven’t managed to break mine some two years on. I’m not trying to, far from it, but you know what I mean!

Why do I like the Hold Fast Mug from Doris & Co?

You may have noticed a very strong equestrian and country theme to my blog, clients, musing and content. That’s not something that’s done for show, it’s just me. I have horses, I’ve worked with horses in the past. We live at the back of beyond. I spend a fair amount of time outside, and so on. The Hold Fast Mug captures so many of the elements that I love. There’s a strong equestrian theme, there’s a strong nod to the countryside, and you’ll know by now that I LOVE a quote or saying. And ‘Hold Fast’ gives a good nod to that too. It is my favourite mug for many reasons, and if I can share a bit of Doris & Co with you this Christmas, well, the pleasure is all mine.

Would you like to win a Hold Fast Mug from Doris & Co?

I have one Hold Fast Mug from Doris & Co to give away… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards and you love the mug too, just pop on over to Doris & Co’s website and see Hold Fast and some equally lovely ‘friends’. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

I hope you enjoy my advent calendar competition – best of luck!

robin roadnight hanging starToday I’m giving away a gorgeous Hanging Star, very kindly donated by Robin Roadnight Equestrian Art. Robin is such a lovely lady and so talented too, and I’m delighted to share a bit more of her with you.

Why am I giving away a one of Robin Roadnight’s Hanging Star?

Robin Roadnight is based up in the Scottish Highlands, where she creates gorgeous pieces of equestrian art, that then find their way onto fabric. From here, Robin creates a range of stunning homeware pieces from memo boards to bunting, fabric letters to lightshades. And that’s before we even get onto the print range. The art Robin creates is printed onto the highest quality British linens and then she works with a talented craft team who turn the fabric into something else. You can also buy the fabrics by the metre for your own project if you like. I did actually chat to Robin for one of my ‘a few minutes with…’ interviews a few months back. So you can learn more about Robin Roadnight here.

Why do I like the Hanging Stars?

I’m not sure I know anyone who wouldn’t! The one I have been given to give is the ‘mulberry’ print which features on a linen printed fabric, finished with hessian twine and a wooden button, and isn’t too big either. It’s the perfect size for hanging on curtain poles and dressing table drawers, cupboards and bedsteads. And a lot else besides. It’s really pretty.

Would you like to win a Hanging Star from Robin Roadnight Equestrian Art?

I have one of these lovely stars to giveaway… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, worry not – you can find these stars (and hearts too!) on Robin’s website. hanrose scented candleIf you love candles and gorgeous scents, today’s advent calendar competition is for you! Lovely Hanrose has donated a gorgeous scented candle – called Running In The Rain. And is smells INCREDIBLE.

Why am I giving away a Hanrose Running In The Rain Scented Candle?

I’ve been a big fan for a long time now. Johanna Bloor, the lady who runs Hanrose, is so lovely and so creative. In addition to the candles, she also creates photoart (you might have seen the R and the F I have?), wax melts, cards… and I am sure she’s plotting something else soon too! She’s creative beyond measure and is a thoroughly nice person too. She’s kind and supportive to so many people, and I was delighted and very grateful when she donated a candle to this competition, so you lovely lot can enjoy it. Well, the winner will anyway!

Why do I like the Hanrose Scented Candles?

You know I’m a bit of a packaging junkie? Well, the first things that attracted me to these lovely candles was their packaging. The cute little tins that the candles come in look great, and I like the fact you can pop the lid back on too, so you can keep it safe and stored when you want it next. The smells are incredible, even before you light the wick. I have the mint one and it’s divine too! The Running In The Rain one smells gorgeous and fresh. It’s handmade, soy and scented. And did I mention it smells amazing?! And one last thing – the names! They are brilliant. This one is Running In The Rain, but some of my favourite Hanrose names include Half Halt, Apple Explosion, Tally-Ho and Unicorn Fluff. Such fun.

Would you like to win a Running In The Rain Scented Candle by Hanrose?

You’re in luck, it couldn’t be easier! I have one of these candles up for grabs, and the competition closes at midnight, do be quick. If you see this blog afterwards, don’t worry, you can enter the world of Hanrose through the Hanrose website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

Kate Negus Saddlery Arthur BearThis little chap has been kindly donated by the lovely people at Kate Negus Saddlery. He’s called Arthur and he’s part of the new Lifestyle Collection. How cute is he? Massive thank you to the team for donating him.

Why am I giving away an Arthur Bear from Kate Negus Saddlery?

I’ve worked with Kate Negus Saddlery for years and find the company’s bespoke approach to bridles just brilliant. As everything is made in the UK, turnaround times are short and the team can design and create bespoke pieces if needed too… with very short lead times. The leather used is top quality English leather, and the service Julia provides is second to none. The bespoke approach to bridlework is something that I see some other brands adopting now, but I honestly think Kate Negus led the way here. When you buy a bridle, whether you buy it online or at a show, you can pick the size and style of all the component pieces to get a bridle that fits your horse first time, and fits your style too. So if you want to change a plain browband for a super duper sparkly one you can! This will also save you money as you don’t need to buy two browbands… just the one you want! So, with this pedigree and attention to detail, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about the launch of the Lifestyle Collection. And that was before I met the lovely Arthur, who’s really fun, would make a great gift for a child, a lorry mascot or a stocking filler for anyone really!

Why do I like the Arthur Bear from the Kate Negus Lifestyle Collection?

He’s simply adorable. He’s fluffy and soft (as you’d expect from a teddy bear!), but is wearing a very smart leather scarf with Kate Negus Union Jack bridle pin. Because that’s what the smartest bears wear. He has a nifty hinged split ring too that you can use to attach him to things. He looks great in so many places, actually, when he arrived with me he was adorning the new Kate Negus Tote… and he looked brilliant! Arthur comes in a range of colours and if you buy him you can decide what colour his body and scarf are. The bear I have to give is as pictured. And he’s gorgeous!

Would you like to win an Arthur Bear from Kate Negus Saddlery?

I have one Arthur Bear to giveaway… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, worry not, the full Kate Negus Lifestyle Collection is online, and Arthur’s there too. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

Sweet Images PhotographyToday’s prize is a super dooper special one. It’s a print from my incredibly talented friend and client, equestrian photographer Rachel Bragg aka Sweet Images Photography. This print is lovely. I saw it on Sweet Images’ Instagram and I just loved it. So I asked if I could buy one… and it’s even more amazing in the flesh. Rachel has kindly donated another print for one lucky Facebook fan. If you’re the lucky winner, you will love it!

Why am I giving away a Mounted Print from Sweet Images?

I just adore this print and I am confident that my Facebook following will too. The timing was clearly perfect when the shot was taken but the colours and the composition of the image I also find very calming. I also feel that this image is very Rachel, by which I mean it perfectly encapsulates what she does as a photographer for her clients. It’s capturing those special moments and holding a situation or feeling in time. And this picture, I think, shows it really well. I also like that it’s not a ‘traditional’ beach image because that’s not the kind of thing I would want on my wall unless it was of me riding. I see this as a piece of equestrian art. And the fact that Rachel, who I am just beyond proud of, took it, makes it even more special.

Why do I like the Mounted Print from Sweet Images?

It takes me back to my horsey roots a little more and, as I know that the vast majority of my followers on social media, and the vast majority of my clients, have links to equestrian and country, I am confident they will like it too.

Would you like to win a Mounted Print from Sweet Images?

I bet you do! All you need to do is come on over to my Facebook page on the day this is published, watch the little stop motion video and like and comment below that video. If you read this afterwards, worry not – you can find out more about Rachel over on her Sweet Images website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do is pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

Eat That FrogToday I’ve reverted back to products to help you with your business… and this comes in the form of a book called Eat That Frog. Yep – it sounds a bit grim and a bit slimy but it’s BRILLIANT!

Why am I giving away a copy of Eat The Frog?

In short, it’s a really, really good book… and one that I need to re-read and follow the advice that Brian Tracy so brilliantly provides a lot more closely! Eat That Frog is all about productivity and how to get the stuff done you need to. And often this in by ‘eating the frog’ first… as in, doing the biggest, ugliest, slimiest task first.

Overwhelm is a big problem and it’s something that, especially at this time of the year, can basically paralyse our productivity. You know when you have about a million things to do and you don’t know where to start? Yep? I’m talk to you. This is the book you need. Feeling overwhelmed is flipping horrible and something that nearly everyone I know suffers from from time to time. For some, it’s a fleeting moment and for others it can be all consuming and it’s horrible. I genuinely think this book can help. I know it’s helped quite a few people I work with.

Why do I like Eat The Frog?

I like business books. Well, I should rephrase that, I like GOOD business books. I read a lot of books to help me ‘up skill’ and improve what I do, and this was one book I read a while ago and finished it thinking ‘hell yes!’. The ‘Eat That Frog’ method is a simple one… and I like that a lot too. It’s the kind of book you should read and re-read when you get the overwhelm creeps in.

Would you like to win a copy of Eat The Frog??

The competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, you can get the book on Amazon… you might even be able to get it on Kindle or as an audiobook… I’m not sure to be honest! However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

burgundy boot tassels from fairfax and favorToday I’m giving away this gorgeous a pair of burgundy boot tassels from Fairfax & Favor. A BIG thank you to Fairfax & Favor for kindly donating these to my advent calendar competition.

Why am I giving away a pair of boots tassels from Fairfax & Favor?

If you follow me on any social media platform or read this blog, you’ll know I am a big fan of Fairfax & Favor. I’ve collaborated with them on videos about their Explorer Boots, I’ve reviewed their packaging, I’ve interviewed co-founder Felix Favor Parker… and I own enough Fairfax & Favor to start a small shop. And I will extend my ‘stock holding’ soon too. I admire what they have achieved as a company and I love the products. And if you ever get the chance to visit the team at an event – DO IT. The stand is beautiful, the products are gorgeous, and the team are a real delight. It’s a masterclass in customer service and branding.

Why do I like the boot tassels?

I am lucky enough to own a pair of Explorers and a pair of Reginas, and although I really like the matching tassels, I have a navy bag and wanted to tie the tan boots in with it… so how to do it? Tassels, of course! I own the navy and plum ones for my own use and I really, really love them. They transform the look of the boots to give a more coordinated look without having to buy more boots. Although I would never, ever discourage anyone from buying more boots. Just for the record. I like the tassels because they are fun and really do change a look. Yes, they work well on Fairfax’s range of boots, but also look great on other boots, bags, even as keyrings. And the burgundy is really nice and festive, so perfect for this time of year.

Would you like a win a pair of Fairfax & Favor’s burgundy boot tassels?

Silly question! I have one pair up for grabs… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, don’t worry, the burgundy tassels (and a LOT of other colours!) are available on the Fairfax & Favor website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

Hiho Silver Double Wrap Leather BraceletAren’t you in for a treat today – Hiho Silver has kindly donated this gorgeous Double Wrap Leather Bracelet. It’s unisex (I’ve seen it on both men and women and it looks superb on both), so whether you want to win it for yourself or a loved one, it’s perfect!

Why am I giving away a Double Wrap Leather Bracelet from Hiho Silver?

I make no secret of the fact that I have the absolute pleasure of working for Hiho Silver and I’m also a brand ambassador for the company. I’ve adored Hiho’s pieces and owned them for as long as I care to remember and continue to love the new designs this innovative company of jewellery designers brings to the market. But what’s more than this, Hiho is made up of the NICEST bunch of people. Emma Warren, Hiho’s ‘Queen Bee’ is a real inspiration and genuinely such a lovely person. I mean, her business brain is incredible too, but that’s a whole different discussion! Andrew Ransford, Hiho’s King of the Road, is the life and soul of the Hiho stand party. If you go to any event, the chances are you’ll see him chatting to customers, creating pieces, customising cherry rollers… sometimes singing and eating chips… but always brilliant. What he doesn’t know about jewellery and how it’s made isn’t worth knowing. And let’s not forget Michelle, the Countess of Contentment, all round superstar, fixer of all things, gift wrapper extraordinaire and the most organised person I know. She’s the lady you’ll probably speak to if you call Hiho. If you need help with a gift – she’s your girl. Have an issue? She’ll sort it. I LOVE THEM ALL. Hiho do make a number of leather bracelets, such as the really popular snaffle piece, and this one too.

Why do I like the Double Wrap Leather Bracelet from Hiho Silver?

It’s just such an adaptable piece! It looks great on men and women, on its own or adorned with silver ‘riders’, which can be slid onto the leather to add a bit of silvery goodness! The stirrup buckle detail is gorgeous and I love the saddle stitching too. I think the double wrap also adds extra interest. And it looks great when stacked with silver bangles too.

Would you like to win a Hiho Leather Double Wrap Bracelet??

The competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, worry not – you can find the double wrap leather bracelet (and lots more!) on the Hiho Silver website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

Sophie Callahan Equestrian CalendarToday I’m giving away a brilliant prize, kindly donated by equestrian photographer, vlogger and blogger, Sophie Callahan. And the prize up for grabs is her 2018 Equestrian Calendar. I’m very, very proud to call Sophie a client and friend of mine and continue to be blown away by what she creates. She’s definitely one to watch! Here’s why I am giving away a copy of her 2018 Equestrian Calendar.

Why am I giving away a copy of Sophie Callahan’s Equestrian Calendar?

As I’ve mentioned above, Sophie is a client and friend of mine and is an incredibly talented photographer too. Last year, she launched her very first calendar and it was a big success, and this year she’s created an even better version. Well, I say even better, the 2017 one was lovely too, but this one combines stunning pictures WITH key equestrian dates. Who wouldn’t want that?!

Why do I like Sophie’s Equestrian Calendar??

Just looking at it from a product point of view, it’s brilliant. Each month, there’s a picture of a stunning horse (and who doesn’t want to look at a lovely horse each month?!), but more than that, the equestrian dates are so useful, whether you’re a business or a show attendee. A number of my clients exhibit at shows throughout the year, and although I know all too well roughly when the shows fall, as there’s a pattern, rough doesn’t work with the level of detail I need! Saying ‘well, Badminton is the first weekend in May’ is fine if you’re then going to confirm that before you plan your content marketing, FB ads, sponsorships and social media content around it… not if you want the detail. And also the format of the calendar is great for me. I like boxes you can actually write stuff in. I do have times when my life is a teeny bit more hectic than I’d like, and making sure I know when the farrier is coming (and don’t, you know, completely forget because I have six million other things on)… so somewhere to write is a win.

Would you like to win Sophie Callahan’s Equestrian Calendar?

I have one copy to give away, but all you need to do is pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post… although that is not an entry mechanism… as that would break Facebook Ts and Cs… and I wouldn’t want to do that! The competition runs for one day only (the day this post is published!), so be quick! And if you’d like to buy one of these calendars, you can do this online on Sophie’s website.

I hope you enjoy my advent calendar competition – best of luck!

neck warmerToday I’m giving away this gorgeous Faux Fur Neck Warmer, kindly donated by the lovely Annabel Brocks. Annabel has donated a bubblegum pink tweed and natural faux fur version. It’s so snug and looks so stylish too.

Why am I giving away a Faux Fur Neck Warmer from Annabel Brocks?

It’s a superb product, designed by a very, very talented lady! I own the pewter version (which is pewter velvet on one side and a slightly darker faux fur on the other) and it’s lovely. It makes you feel special when you put it on and it keeps you warm… and I know that at this time of year, both of these things are much needed!

Why do I like the Faux Fur Neck Warmer?

Designed by Annabel and made in the UK, the neck warmer is exceptional quality and a really lovely addition to any winter wardrobe. It has a clever design that incorporates a split in the middle on one side, which makes it easy to post one end of the neck warmer through, to keep it in the perfect position all day long. The one I’ve been given to give is bubblegum pink tweed, but the range online contains other variations in faux fur and tweeds, so there’s something to suit all tastes.

Would you like to win a Faux Fur Neck Warmer from Annabel Brocks?

You absolutely do! I have one to giveaway… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, don’t worry, you can find the whole of Annabel Brocks’ range, including neck warmers, on Annabel Brocks website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.
