robin roadnight hanging star

robin roadnight hanging starToday I’m giving away a gorgeous Hanging Star, very kindly donated by Robin Roadnight Equestrian Art. Robin is such a lovely lady and so talented too, and I’m delighted to share a bit more of her with you.

Why am I giving away a one of Robin Roadnight’s Hanging Star?

Robin Roadnight is based up in the Scottish Highlands, where she creates gorgeous pieces of equestrian art, that then find their way onto fabric. From here, Robin creates a range of stunning homeware pieces from memo boards to bunting, fabric letters to lightshades. And that’s before we even get onto the print range. The art Robin creates is printed onto the highest quality British linens and then she works with a talented craft team who turn the fabric into something else. You can also buy the fabrics by the metre for your own project if you like. I did actually chat to Robin for one of my ‘a few minutes with…’ interviews a few months back. So you can learn more about Robin Roadnight here.

Why do I like the Hanging Stars?

I’m not sure I know anyone who wouldn’t! The one I have been given to give is the ‘mulberry’ print which features on a linen printed fabric, finished with hessian twine and a wooden button, and isn’t too big either. It’s the perfect size for hanging on curtain poles and dressing table drawers, cupboards and bedsteads. And a lot else besides. It’s really pretty.

Would you like to win a Hanging Star from Robin Roadnight Equestrian Art?

I have one of these lovely stars to giveaway… and the competition is only running until midnight on the day this blog is published. If you read this afterwards, worry not – you can find these stars (and hearts too!) on Robin’s website. However, if you’re in time, all you need to do it pop on over to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page, watch the video that will be pinned to the top today and enter. That’s it! Of course, I’d love it if you’d tell your friends by sharing the post.

I hope you enjoy my advent calendar competition – best of luck!
