I’m really excited to speak to you about Albion’s BIG Competition. And all the caps are deliberate because the competition is HUGE. In fact, the winner will walk away with a prize haul work over four thousand pounds! Yes, OVER £4000!

Gracie Tyte Albion Competition

What’s Albion’s Big Competition all about?

In December, Albion Saddlemakers (one of my lovely clients) launched a competition to celebrate the new K3 Jump Saddle. This beautiful monoflap jump saddle has been designed to combine the best bits of the best selling K2 Jump Saddle in a single flapped design, for those who want that. The saddle is really stunning and in addition to traditional leather, the K3 is also available with Glitz fabric at various points, to add blue, red or black sparkle to the design. It’s really beautiful!

Now, to give this saddle a fitting launch, Albion decided to put together a HUGE competition with some of its equestrian business friends. And the result was a prize haul worth over £4000! The competition launched on 3rd December ’19 on Albion’s Instagram (@albionsaddlemakers on Insta) and it just FLEW! The competition will run for eight weeks and then the winner will be drawn.

So, what does the winner win?

Well, in addition to a K3 Jump Saddle and Albion bridle, the lucky winner will bag themselves…

  • A Social Supercharge: Rider digital course and three remote one to one sessions with me.
  • A rider clothing bundle from Super X Country including matchy, bespoke cross country colours, best selling Candy Leggings, and lots of other bits too.
  • A matching Cherry Roller Bangle and Cherry Roller Stock Pin, both from Hiho Silver, with single CZ sparkle Roller Bead in the middle (I was gifted a Cherry Roller Bangle when they first came out, and years on it never leaves my wrist. I LOVE it!)
  • A clothing bundle from Equiboodle which includes the Vixen Cowl Neck Sweatshirt, which is SO snug. In addition, the winner will win a lovely Boodle Blouson for riding and a variety of other Equiboodle branded loveliness that they can wear and enjoy.
  • A Vent-Air Sport Hat from Champion Hats, which has a hand sprayed gloss finish. These hats have got amazing safety credentials, as you’d expect from Champion, but the colours that they come in and the very cool finishes available really make them stand out from the crowd visually too.
  • A Pro-Vent 3.0 Body Protector from safety specialists Racesafe Equestrian. This body protector has got some really impressive design know-how behind it and looks seriously comfortable to wear too, as well as helping to keep you safe.
  • And last but by no means least, if the winner is in the UK, they will also bag themselves a photoshoot with the incredibly talented Sophie Callahan. Now, you’ll know I love Sophie because, well, I do… and she’s done the only two professional shoots at home with the horses that I’ve ever had… and she also did all the shots for the competition with Gracie Tyte!

Phew! Are you excited?

Albion Big Competition

Albion England LogoHave you heard of Albion England? When I started in this industry, Albion was really well known for exceptional quality saddlery. Many of the top horses strutted their stuff in Albion saddles and bridles. And I can still remember the much adored Albion dressage saddle in the tack room on the event yard I used to work at. It was a thing of beauty and was so nice to ride in. Even if the horse who owned it wasn’t always the most cooperative, at least you had a comfortable seat!

Albion is now more actively promoting other strings to its leather bow. In recent years, Albion has rebranded as Albion England and has started to make a serious dent in the country lifestyle and shooting scene too.

This leads me nicely to The Game Fair. I’m really excited to be going to The Game Fair this year (and was delighted to write a guest blog too), and as I was scrolling down the exhibitor list, I found a number of stands I was really excited to go and visit… and one was Albion England.

I saw the stand at Badminton Horse Trials and meant to go back and have a look around as it looked absolutely stunning. I did also want to go and sniff the candles (I know I’m quirky, but the names sound divine!) and, also, if you’re horsey, there’s something about the smell of good quality leather. Don’t you think?! Anyway, I digress. When I saw Albion England were on the The Game Fair’s exhibitor list, I took the opportunity to catch up with the team about what we can expect to Albion England The Game Fairsee at the event… over to Albion England.
