Sporting hares windermere giletHave I got a treat for you today?! The week two bundle is an absolute corker as you’ll know if you’ve visited my Facebook page and entered. And today I’m talking at the Windermere Gilet from Sporting Hares. Oh my. It is STUNNING!

What’s a Sporting Hares Windermere Gilet?

I think I first saw a Sporting Hares Windermere Gilet in real life on my lovely friend and amazing photographer Rachel Bragg aka Sweet Images. It’s no normal gilet. And in the next few paragraphs you’ll find out why.

Now, I love a gilet, but this is a gilet and then some. It’s made from suede. Yes, actual suede. It feels lovely and it’s light in weight too, so don’t think it’s heavy, it isn’t. The suede has a special treatment called DWR that makes it repellent to precipitation, so fine if you get caught in a light shower too. The lining is a stunning purpley/pink, the same as the Beauchamp Blazer. This provides a lovely contrast to the tan tones of this one. It’s finished with a teddy bear soft fleece collar lining, on brand white and navy striped velvet collar, and has brass hardware to complete the look. If you’re looking for a gilet with a difference then I urge you to go and find out more about Sporting Hares Windermere Gilet. The tan is really lovely, but it’s also available in a navy. So smart!

The Sporting Hares Windermere Gilet joins the Fleetwood & Foxgrove Field Scarf  and Super X Country Timeless Gloves in the bundle, along with products from Tom Lane and Apt Cavalier. The video and blog all about Super X Country and Fleetwood & Foxgrove is already up – the rest will follow this week. Keep your eyes peeled.

How do you win?

The winner will be picked at random, but you do need to enter, or else you definitely won’t win!

For week two, the Sporting Hares Windermere Gilet joins products from Tom Lane, Fleetwood & Foxgrove, Super X Country, Apt Cavalier and Sporting Hares.

Thank you Sporting Hares

A ginormous thank you to Sporting Hares for this amazing gilet. The winner of the bundle is going to be blown away by this!

I first found Sporting Hares in connection to… wait for it… packaging! The MD, Marc, reached out following a blog I’d written about packaging and I was keen to learn more about the design process involved. I was so, so impressed with the level of detail and thought that went in to Sporting Hares’ packaging, I knew I was in for a treat with the products. And I have been. I own one of their caps and a pair of the beautiful pink and gun metal striped socks. And I adore them both. If you’re looking for a stocking filler for Christmas, then do go and have a look. I know it sounds crazy but when I don my Sporting Socks, I know I’m in for a good day. Now I just need to decide which colour to buy next – they now have three!

Fleetwood and foxgrove field scarfDay two of the second week’s giveaway… and I have to say it’s another amazing prize! This is the Fleetwood & Foxgrove Field Scarf. In black with a gorgeous fawn trim.

What’s a Fleetwood & Foxgrove Field Scarf

I first ‘met’ Fleetwood & Foxgrove before my second TEDx talk, which I gave at TEDxTelford. I was working on my outfit and there was one piece of the puzzle missing. A scarf. I wanted something with a little colour due to the rest of my outfit. And that’s how I found them.

Kirsty, the lady behind Fleetwood & Foxgrove, said the Field Scarf would be perfect. And she was right. She even came to TEDx to watch me (and the other speakers, obviously!) which was lovely.

This scarf is available in a range of colours, and it’s made from polyester, meaning it’s really easy to care for, but it is SO soft! It’s finished with a satin bias trim in a fawn colour which as a lovely golden sheen. And to complete the scarf, there’s a little leather tag too, which has the company’s logo.

The scarf that is in the giveaway is big square, measuring 90cm x 90cm. This means that it’s the perfect scarf, but can also double as a shawl if you fold it from corner to corner. Add a brooch and it’ll take you to posh nights out and balls too. Then it’ll help you to stay snug and stylish when you’re stood in a field!

The Fleetwood & Foxgrove Field Scarf will join the Super X Country Timeless Gloves in the bundle, along with products from Tom Lane, Sporting Hares and Apt Cavalier. The video and blog all about Super X Country are already up, and the rest will follow this week. Keep your eyes peeled.

Thank you Fleetwood & Foxgrove

A big thank you to Kirsty from Fleetwood & Foxgrove for donating this lovely scarf. It’s the perfect gift for any lady this festive season. And the black would look SO good with smarter outfits too.

In addition to the lovely products made by the company, the packaging is something really special too; always good if you’re buying as a gift! The range has also got pretty impressive British credentials, so if you’d like to support a small business who manufactures in the UK, you might want to check them out! And, just like that, we’re at the final product that makes up the first week of my 2018 Christmas Giveaway! If the term ‘last but not least’ was ever more apt, well, I’m not sure when! So, without further ado, here’s the fifth prize in this week’s bundle – Honest Riders’ No Scope Sweatshirt.

Honest Riders SweatshirtWhat’s a Honest Riders’ No Scope Sweatshirt?

Actually, it’s pretty blummin special!

Honest Riders sells a range of lovely slogan sweatshirts, t-shirts and vests, all with fun equestrian themed sayings. This one has ‘No Scope No Hope’ on it, but you might have seen others like the popular ‘Drop It Like It’s Trot’ – which always makes me smile!

In addition to the fun slogans, in a variety of finishes, on beautiful coloured garments, there’s a bit more to Honest Riders than meets the eye. Yes, the quality is exceptional and the products really are lovely, but there’s an ethical element too. The products are all made with the environment in mind and also use organic cotton, are fair wear certified, and sweatshop free. And if that wasn’t enough, a charitable donation is made to different charities when certain slogan garments are purchase, good hey?

There’s also another side to Honest Riders, and that focuses on products for horses. There are LOTS of equine lotions and potions out there, but Honest Riders offer something a bit different. All products selected are cruelty free, use natural ingredients wherever possible, and have been tested by founder Zoe.

Today, I’m adding a ‘No Scope’ sweatshirt to the bundle. It’s called a ‘thoroughbred’ fit and I can confirm it has a closer fit than many sweatshirts but it’s hugely flattering. I think the close fit makes it smarter somehow, so you can style it up quite easily, but also wear it on the yard, when walking the dog, or dashing around after the children. This colour is called mulberry and has white lettering. For each one sold, Honest Riders donates £5 to Pablos Horse Sanctuary. And how can you win one? Well…

The sweatshirt is going into the week one bundle, along with the Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts Horseshoe HookMackenzie & George Personalised Keyring, the Fairfax & Favor Chatham Purse, and the Hiho Silver Fob Bracelet with Equestrian Charms. You can enter the competition to win the whole bundle on my Rhea Freeman Facebook page.

How do you win?

The winner will be picked at random, but you do need to enter, or else you definitely won’t win!

This year’s festive giveaways have been grouped, meaning that five products make up the prize for week one. This stunner joins the Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts Hook, Mackenzie & George Keyring, Hiho Silver Fob Bracelet and the Fairfax & Favor Purse.

As per the rest of the days, I’ve added a video to my Rhea Freeman PR Facebook page. This shows the sweatshirt that you’ll win, the colour, the fit, and lots more.

Thank you Honest Riders

A massive thank you to Zoe at Honest Riders for giving this sweatshirt to the week one bundle.

Zoe set up Honest Riders just a few months ago and has worked so hard to establish the brand quickly and correctly. The slogans are fun and thoroughly equestrian, but the ‘good’ that’s behind these sweatshirts is great too. From the way the sweatshirts are made to the charitable donation. They look good and do good. A win, win, win then!

If you haven’t ‘met’ Honest Riders yet, do go over to the Honest Riders website and look. I am sure you’ll find some products you need in your life!

A big thank you to Honest Riders. The winner of the week one bundle is going to be thrilled!

Well hello day four of the first week of my 2018 Christmas Giveaway! Today we have a beautiful prize from Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts, which has joined the first week bundle.

Horseshoe Heart HookWhat’s a Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts Horseshoe Hook?

Have you ‘met’ Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts yet? If not, you’re in for a real treat.

This lovely business, run by a husband and wife team, creates the most stunning pieces out of horseshoes. Whether it’s horseshoes that they have or horseshoes from your own horse. They’re hand forged into the most beautiful pieces of art. From intertwined hearts to lucky horseshoes with a special horse’s name stamped into them, bookends, words, hoofpicks, these gorgeous hooks, and plenty more.

I love the upcycling element to the company as well as how, in addition to being oh-so-beautiful, they’re also lovely to hold and clearly strong as strong can be! I wish I’d kept my cob’s last set of shoes to have something like this done with them!

Today, I’m adding one of the company’s beautiful Heart Shaped Horseshoe Coat Hooks to the week one prize bundle. This hook is, obviously, made from a horseshoe, which has been cleaned and heated before being forged into this lovely heart. Another piece of metal has been worked to create the hook, complete with beautiful scroll at the end, and then they’re welded together. Find out more about the process of how the Heart Shaped Horseshoe Coat Hook is made here.

And how can you win one? Well…

The Hook is going into the week one bundle, along with the Mackenzie & George Personalised Keyring, the Fairfax & Favor Chatham Purse, and the Hiho Silver Fob Bracelet with Equestrian Charms. You can enter the competition to win the whole bundle on my Rhea Freeman Facebook page.

Thank you Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts

A HUGE thank you to the Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts team for this prize – and it really is SO lovely! The people behind the brand are so supportive of these kind of things and I’m hugely grateful for the support.

I met Faye at Hiho Silver’s Style, Skills & Silver Day and can say that in addition to being supremely talented, she’s also absolutely lovely. And if that’s not a great reason to get behind someone and their business, I’m not sure what is!

I would urge you to go and have a look at the Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts website, but also to have a look around all the sections. It seems that in addition to the beautiful horseshoe art, Faye is also the most amazing artist. A lady of many, many talents!

A massive thank you to Horseshoe Hearts & Gifts for this – I know the winner is going to be thrilled!
